hi, I'm Xaeky

This is my personal knowledge base, where I store notes, ideas, and other information that I find useful. I wanted to start my , and this is the first step in that direction. I call this site .

Why I didn't use other tools like Obsidian or Quartz?

I wanted to try in a beginning but it was too way complicated for me to customize it. Obsidian is a good option but I don't want to pay for it to publish my ideas. As a full stack developer, sometimes I just want to have a simple and clean interface to store my notes, and an easy way to configure it, Quartz was not the right choice for me. So, I'd recommend those tools only if you're in a rush and want to get started quickly, but if you are a web developer like me and want to be more declarative and have more control over your knowledge base, I recommend you to build your own thing, use whatever framework you are comfortable with, and build your own thing, at the end of the day who cares about the framework or the tech stack, what matters is the content and the knowledge you are sharing.

You can perfect your stuff, you can have the most perfect design, but if you don't have content, it doesn't matter.

Same thing with money and luxury, you can travel to the most luxurious places, but you might not have people to share it with... so what's the point of traveling alone?

By the way, this site was inspired by jacky's website, I really like the way he designed his site, actually I had (kinda) the same idea as him. A calmer and minimalistic design.
